Xcentric Mold & Engineering, a leading provider of rapid manufacturing based in Michigan, recently welcomed two new employees—Landon Wiser and Justin Hindo—as part of its company-wide commitment to delivering an Amazing Customer Experience in 2022.
Landon Wiser, Strategic Account Executive
With several years of experience from within the industry, Landon is looking forward to helping customers get their products to market faster by leveraging his knowledge on injection molding, LSR, traditional thermoplastics, sheet metal fabrication, CNC in metals and plastics, and 3D printing.
Having supported customers in aerospace, consumer electronics, medical, and bioscience in his previous roles, Landon is eager to see what comes of the combined partnership of his broad industry knowledge and Xcentric’s capabilities.
“I am excited to come on board in a more strategic role and to learn from a group that is well versed in plastic manufacturing.”
In prior roles, Landon worked with Loffler Companies as a Digital Automation and Transformation Specialist, where he assisted organizations by leveraging technology to reduce manual labor, and subsequently, operating costs. He has helped organizations realize their real-life return on investment by streamlining cumbersome business processes.
Landon received a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. An automotive enthusiast, he loves wrenching cars in his free time, mountain biking, and hanging out with his 100lb Bernedoodle.
Justin Hindo, Technical Account Manager
Equipped with technical knowledge that supports Xcentric’s engineer-first mindset, Justin is a solid addition to the Xcentric team.
“I’m excited to join Xcentric as a Technical Account Manager because I can utilize my technical background to support customers from a variety of industries rather than strictly automotive. I’m excited to work directly with engineers, designers, and other inventors to bring their products to life,” said Justin.
Justin’s strong skills in injection molding, resin material selection, and sales come from a combination of having worked for resin compounder/recycler, PRET Advanced Materials and his studies. As OEM Account Manager to Ford and the Global Team Leader for PRET’s internal Ford teams, his responsibilities included working directly with Ford Engineering to support their sustainability initiatives—recycled material approvals for 2024-2026 model vehicles and the development of bio-based resins for 2026-2030 model vehicles.
Justin received his Bachelor’s degree in Plastics/Polymer Engineering from Ferris State University. He enjoys playing his guitar, hiking, and camping in his spare time.
“I’m thrilled to have both Landon and Justin join the Xcentric family. Their experience aligns well with our focus on building out our expert technical team”, said Matt McIntosh, CEO of Xcentric.
Xcentric’s Employee Excellence in Rapid Manufacturing
Xcentric’s success for the past 25 years is a result of its robust team of experts in injection molding and rapid prototyping. Through the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Xcentric has maintained its on-time delivery and high Net Promoter Scores.
“Our employees’ continuous efforts to always deliver an Amazing Customer Experience is what sets us apart from other rapid prototyping companies,” said McIntosh. “Other companies can manufacture plastic parts. But they don’t have Xcentric’s employees. And that is the greatest differentiator and measure of excellence for our customers.”
